Switzerland (CH) – End of 2G

End of June 2026, Switzerland will stop the 2G and in the next weeks VIALTIS will organise the replacement of the SAT devices -circulating in CH- by the new 4G device Telepass K1

Furthermore, please note that : 

-Since 22nd September 2025, CH cannot be activated on Telepass SAT (already distributed or newly distributed).
- In December 2025,  CH will be deactivated on Telepass SAT NOT in circulation in CH.

MONT BLANC TUNNEL : closure from Sept to Dec 2025 

From the beginning of September to mid-December 2025 - more than 60 years after the construction of this exceptional infrastructure - the Mont Blanc Tunnel will be going on with the reconstruction of two portions of the tunnel vault, making it one of the first major European tunnels to undertake deep renovation work on its structure.
This project will require one total closure of the tunnel for a duration of 15 consecutive weeks:
from 5 p.m. on Monday 1, September 2025
to 5 p.m. on Friday 12, December 2025

During this period, please use the recommended alternative routes.
